Newest SpyIt could have been a burlesque sight in the fifties. A black marquee proclaimed the designation of the bar in huge white letters rimmed with flashing lights. The glass double doors were framed on the right side by a small window displaying the latest in gothic fashion trends. Stripe and spiked collar wearing patrons pushed their way past her to the bouncers, paying the cover charge and heading into the dark.   
Where's Doc?  He was supposed to meet me here. Juli scanned the faces of Jasper Avenue, searching for any sign of him.

Talfryn - Chapter 1"Dilys!"   
The harsh call broke into Dilys' pleasant early morning thoughts, making her wince. How long could she possibly get away with not answering Naf Emyr's summons? Not for very long. The Naf demanded absolute obedience from his servants, and every instance of disobedience resulted in cruel punishment. Dilys wasn't prepared to risk what little beauty of hers was left underneath all the layers of grime-covered clothing and matted hair for just a few more moments of rest. She sighed softly and got up from the rough wooden chair by the kitchen fire.

Getting back into the Swing

So I posted a new deviation. First one in ages. Newest Spy - poorly named but as I work on it it'll get better. I need to finish it eventually, but I want to be good and, fortunately for me, lighttigersoul is a good writer and he sent me some help. So I'm going to attempt the snowflake method for writing it. You never know. It could work. But either way, that's the teaser page.
